What Causes Pulsating Pain Inside Cervix Or Uterus?

I have had my iud for over a year! Every once in a while I get a pulsating or throbbing pain inside maybe where my cervic or uterus is, which switches sides... Is this from ovulating? It last a few days and goes away completely only to return and most times on the opposite side! it s not pain where I can t breathe just enough to be annoying kind of feels like being stabbed but inside! I had my annual in September and it was fine and I can also feel it there still so I know it s not in wrong. Thoughts??

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is pulsating sensation in lower abdomen then this may not be due to ovulation but this could be due to IUD and this need to be examined for infection and inflammation, if found something like that then this can be managed with proper medicine, some time this may be nonspecific if IUD is alright on place, take care.
