What Causes Pulsating Neck Veins?
There is pulsating in the front of my neck. This is besides the pulse I feel when I check my pulse on the side of my. You can visually see it pulsating. This is something I ve never seen before. What could be causing this. Please respond to YYYY@YYYY .

Pulsations in your neck can be due to:
1) In lean people pulsation of blood vessels are easily seen in excited states, it is normal.
2) Pulsations can be due to other underlying diseases, but in your case you have not mentioned about any other symptoms apart from pulsation in neck.
Look out for other symptoms like breathlessness, increased fatigue, excessive sweating on palms, cold and heat intolerance, difficulty in swallowing, palpitations, irregular menses (females), loss or gain of weight significantly. If you feel any of the above mentioned symptoms are significantly noticed by you, then you have to be evaluated further. If not, then you are alright and need not worry at all.
