Yes thank you. I've had for a few months a pulsating or throbbing in my left ear intermittently, no pain but very noticeable. Have checked blood pressure, it's always fine but throbbing continues. Often first thing in the morning, but not necessarily, am not stressed ...

As per your query pulsating and throbbing pain in the ear which can be cause by many factors like ear infection, tympanic membrane rupture, stress , wisdom tooth, temporomandibular joint problem , cervical spondolysis and increase blood pressure. I would suggest you to keep putting antibiotic ear drops. You should take antibiotics along with anti inflammtory medicines like ibuprofen and diclofenac. Take steam inhalation. Avoid excessive hard substance eating. consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like audiometery , CT scan ,MRI , low and high pitched ringing to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax build-up , middle ear infection.
