What Causes Protrusion Of The Navel?

I have noticed that the bottom portion of my belly button has switched from being an innie to an outie over the past few years. I am 6 foot tall 210 pounds and am in good shape (not overweight or obese). I exercise and lift weights 5 times a week and have no pain or soreness in my abdominal region. I was checked for a hernia a few years ago when I first noticed it and my primary found no issues. So, is this normal?

Hi
You need this rechecked since even if it wasn't there before this is likely an umbilical hernia that may need surgical repair
