Something I have noticed recently is my stomach looks extremely protruded. Like I m pregnant again. My test was negative but it doesn t appear to be normal and the sides are rounded

Hello,

It can take some time from a few months to a year for the abdominal muscles to get toned back to pre-pregnancy level after childbirth. You can do core strengthening exercises to regain back the muscle tone.

You can also follow up with your primary provider to rule out the presence of a hernia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
