General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for asking a question at HCM

I will be glad to help you

It is not normal to have heavy bleeding after 5 days of surgery

But if the bleeding or bloody discharge is minimal, you can wait for 2 more days for it to stop.

If the bleeding continues even after 2 to 3 days, you need to go for a follow up check up with the same doctor who operated you.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

Dr Chaithanya
