What Causes Pricking Feeling Under Eye While Treating Bell S Palsy?
i am recovering from Bells Palsy and on the good side of my face my eye is pricking under the top eye lid also the good side has been the most painful, can you explain please and advise if there is anything i can do to stop the pricking sensation. Thank you
When you do those exercises to treat Bell's palsy you activate the nerve make it and the muscles connected with it stronger. Of course it is difficult to do that only in one side. The other side gets also activated and that is normal. If it still goes on after you finish these treatment then you should consider seeing a neurologist who can examine you and figure out why is the nerve having pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Klarida Papaqako, General & Family Physician
