What Causes Pressure Ulcers In Coccyx Spreading Across Buttocks?

Ok I have a pressure ulcer on my coccyx that is tunneling into my left buttcheek and has caused a very large bright red/hard to touch. I have been prescribed and completed oral antibiotics without it helping. The exudate has a foul odor. What should I do

One of the main aspects of treatment of any pressure sore is relieving the pressure on the area.
They do not heal if the pressure continues.

The area may also need to be debrided by your doctor so that the unhealthy necrotic tissue can be removed. Once these areas are removed and the healthy tissue exposed , pressure source reduced then healing can occur.
