What Causes Pressure In The Lower Abdomen And Frequent Bowel Movements?

Hi I have been having some issues in regards to my somach. In the last week I have been more often to the toilet. I mostly feel the pressure in the lower abdomen to go and pass a stool. And when I do it s usually small and not runny at all. My stomach rumbles after eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Usually at night if I eat more i get the pressure to go to the toilet. And would be sometimes 4 times passing a stool. Stool is usually small (almost formed as a proper stool) and sinks. Other than this I do feel fine, no temperature, sickness or other. I am a bit concerned as I never had problems like this one in the past. Usually if it s a bad food or poisoning it would end up runny and I would feel sick too. But with this I don t know. Thanks Aleks

Hi,

There are a lot of causes that can lead to this situation, like IBS etc.

You may need a colonoscopy for further examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
