What Causes Pressure In Temple Are Behind The Eyes?

Hello Doctor. For about 6 months, I have had a lot of pressure/ slight pain in both temples and especially behind my eyes. Sometimes I would have it the pressure in certain parts of my head. I thought it may have been a sinus issue but I m not sure anymore because I have been on 2 types of antibiotics and nasal wash and none of them have gotten rid of the headache. My sinus doctor prescribed a CT scan (i have never had one before) but I am scared of having so much radiation exposed to my brain. Do you have any idea of what this could be? I have not been to a neurologist yet.

Hi.

I had gone through your query.

Ct scan is the key investigation to find out appropriate cause.it has radiation issues but one time scan wont affect brain.

You have such complaint since six months so investigation is must.

Any structural changes ot pathology only can be detected through CT scan and MRI.

Treatment is depend upon underlying pathology.

Along with that routine blood test and neurological evaluation are necessary.

Follow your doctor's advise.

Get well soon.

Thank you.
