What Causes Pressure In Between Anus And Scrotum?

I have pressure between my anus and scrotum, closer to the scrotum. I am aware of it pretty much permanently now. I m 48 and have been experiencing this for a 2-3 weeks. I checked all the questions for prostate enlargement on NHS and none of them applie to me. I have no problem with urination, strong flow of urine, sleep through the night.

Hi,

From what you are describing, the pressure you are feeling between your anus and scrotum is related to genital problems:
- epidimytis or other infections.

Next, having a bad gas pain, and having narrow passing poo, are indicative for constipation. However, I highly recommend to run a colonoscopy to rule out other local (rectal) pathologies.

Meanwhile, I advise to avoid constipation:
- drink a lot of water
- have foods high in fiber content
- avoid spicy, coffee, chillies, fried foods
- take acetaminophen for the pain
- avoid sexual intercourse until improvement
