What Causes Pressure At The Base Of Sternum?

my wife is complaning about pressure at the base of her sternum and a light headed faint feeling and sometimes a pain in the middle of her back. It is not all the time comes and goes and back pain is not when she has sternum pressure they are always seperate

After going through your query I concluded that your wife is suffering from backache which comes and goes. You are also having pressure on sternum. I think you should rule out heart pain by cardiac function test. Till then you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief.
