General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

During a normal menstrual cycle, the levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone increase and decrease in a regular pattern.

During post menopause, hormone levels may not follow this regular pattern. As a result, you may have irregular bleeding or spotting.

Anyway I suggest you to do a colposcopy and a visit to your symptoms seem to be related gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
