What Causes Poor Hearing And Pulling Sensation Behind The Neck?

Any time I tilt my head back, my ears close up and my hearing becomes very muffled. I can also feel a tight pulling sensation from my ears down to behind my neck. I haven t been able to lay on my stomach with my head lifted straight ahead and watch TV since childhood. But now, If I m standing and have to do something over my head that requires me to look up as well as raise my arms, this will happen very quickly but will include a feeling like I m about to pass out- dizzy, light-headed, and I start to see black spots in my vision until I stop and sit a minute or two. This just happened again, so I thought I d ask. Doubt it s serious- maybe a sinus issue?

Hi,

Yes, it looks ear sinus infection. You need to visit a ENT spacialist and get an x ray or CT scan done to rule out any other cause too. Avoid any self medication because the issue may be brain related too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
