What Causes Poikiloderma Vasculare Atrophicans?

the results of my skin biopsy (one on the arm the other the thigh) resulted in a diagnosis of poikileoderma atrophicans vasculare. I was told it is a rare condition to be watched, that it was not a form of melanoma or skin cancer but that it has the potential to result in cancer. She also said it was like a pre pre cancerous condition. In searching the web I see references to t-cell lymphoma and immune system disorders etc. I just need a better explanation of what to expect and what I should be doing. I am scheduled to start phototherapy on thursday and am concerned as my ophthalmologist just informed me that I have a small retinal hemorrage that should resolve itself in a couple months. That s my other question, I m taking eye drops prescribed by him and wanted to know what else I should do.....I also have peripheral neuropathy 15 years before being tagged pre diabetic. It s very painful but lyrics takes the edge off. My last A1C was 6.1.
