What Causes Plastic Taste And Ringing In The Ears?

Recently some foods I have been eating (creamed corn, pickled cucumbers to name a few) have a very strong plastic taste. I have also noticed a constant ringing in my ears, which sometimes dissipates when I open my mouth (as in performing the movement of equalising my ears).

hello!
it is likely that you are having some fluid in the middle ear, which is causing the ringing sensation, the taste disturbance can also be accounted for this, since the nerve of taste, passes through the ear. please meet your ent doctor for examination and further advice. thanks
