Hello,
Observation of blood even in small amounts through vagina during pregnancy should be viewed with caution as it is not normal.Since you already have a doctor's appointment, this would be taken care of once you mention this to your consultant. Position of the placenta should be looked for through an abdominal sonogram. A speculum exam can reveal any bleeding from the vagina and cervix and any polyps. Please take adequate rest, avoid strain and intercourse. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you safe motherhood.
