What Causes Pink Vagina Spotting With Clear Discharge And Nausea After Tubal Litigation?

Hello. I had my tubes tied at my 6 weeks check-up after having my son in october 2013. Last month I had some light pinkish/brownish spotting for just about 3 days. And now I ve been having some clear stringy dishcharge with no odor. I have had unprotected sex with my huaband, And been feeling some what nausous and sore. I was wondering if I could be pregnant? Or what could be the cause of all of this? I have been having what feels like little butterflies in my stomach or could this just be me imagining things?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Chance of conception is very less with tubal ligation. Some menstrual disturbance is commonly observed during the lactational period, presuming you were lactating at the time. Also, some irregular bleeding is seen after tubal ligation. This is the more likely reason for the discharge seen. A sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, is the best way to detect the cause. If pregnancy and other local causes can be excluded, hormone imbalance should be excluded and further management planned. Hope this helps.
