What Causes Pink Protruding Skin Inside The Vaginal Opening?

I just had a laproscopic hysterectomy a week ago. Today I noticed with a mirror that right inside the hole of my vagina ther is some pink flesh going all the way around the hole protruding out a bit. Should I be worried about a vaginal prolapse or is this just normal internal swelling?

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, this is just a normal swelling.
But since you recently had hysterectomy, better to rule out vaginal prolapse.
So better to consult your gynecologist and get done clinical examination of vagina and swelling.
Also get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule out internal pathology.
