What Causes Pink Or Red Discharge With Urine?

Hi doc, I appreaciate you reading this so when I woke up today I peed and it was light yellow and I saw a lil bit of red/pink at the start I my peeing like right next to hole of my penis. The whole day I saw a lil pink/red. I haven t told my parents yet. During the day my kidney and bladder were hurting but just for about 5 minutes I didn t eat maybe it was hunger. But I m a hispanic 13 year old boy, I really don t want something serious I hope it was that I had talks the other day which is spicey corn chips. Please tell me I don t have any infection/ disease. And inform me if I need to go to my doctor. I just peed and few minutes ago and I barely saw any pink/reddish thank you doctor. All I m doing now is praying. Take care

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have some non specific cause or it can be some bleeding in urine due to kidney stones or infection. You should go for urine routine examination once. If you find significant RBCs in urine examination then you should go for ultrasound study of kidney, ureter and bladder. If your urine examination is normal then nothing to worry. Just be relaxed.
