Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 3 year old daughter that has been getting pimples on her groin area. Usually only one at a time, but they get real red and this one now white puss and maybe a scab forming. Been trying to have her not to wear underwear with pjs at nite in bed. Not sure what s going on.
Detailed answer: Hi, welcome to HCM. By what you quote it seems that your child has probably got pyoderma. In my opinion, You need to give antibiotic like amoxyclav for 3 days and mupirocin cream local application for 5 days. I hope this will help you. Take care. Regards - Dr Deepak Patel, MD Pediatrics
