What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding Along With Abdominal Pain Post Miscarriage?

Hi... I had a miscarriage last week... I passed a sack and was prescribed medicine to help everything clear out.... I have been bleeding since then and it doesn t Seem to get less... I realized Something was wrong when the pain started last week... I had severe lower back and abdominal pain on the left side... Today I am having the exact same pain.... Could it be an sect optic pregnancy even after I passed the sack? When should the bleeding stop?

Hi.

The bleeding can last a few days, usually not more than 2 weeks; but since you have been prescribed medication to expel all the contents of conception, this could purely be the reason why you are still bleeding. Speak to your doctor about the medication prescribed, and if it has been discontinued check with your doctor about how long the effect will last.

Best wishes.
