What Causes Persistent Swelling In Knee Post Knee Surgery?

Hi I just had knee surgery last Wednesday for a form meniscus that vwas torn real bad I ve been up walk on it s my leg steaks wrapped with ace bandage in the knee brace I keep it iced days I would take it off and let it breathe but it s still swollen what else can I do

From your description, I am of the opinion that it is inflammatory swelling due to surgery.

You should take some NSAIDs and you are correctly applying ice packs. The swelling will subside over time.

Although you should check for fever and other symptoms indicating any sepsis or infection.
