hello, i am a 20 year old female smoker who has been sick an unfortunate amount in my life. so i went to the walk in clinic yesterday with the idea that i have strep throat once again( i have had it multiple times and know the sypmtoms pretty well) they had taken a culture and informed me that it doesnt look like strep. they decided to give me an antibiotic anyway and send me on my merry way. anyway i decided to look into some common illness similar to strep and found that i might be developing the more serve form of gingivits, periodontitis. i have been have problems with my teeth for about 6 months now, bleeding, extremly uncomfortable, etc. since i dont have insureance ive just been trying to deal with at home but when i looked this morning there are two that have those little puss pockets in the back. anyway could these syphtoms (fever, headach, swollen right lymph node in neck, swollen tossiles) all have to do with this and not be strep ? will the antibiotics given help or should i go see a dentist ? thanks for your help!
