General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the runny nose your infant is going through for 5 weeks now.
As this has been persisting for 5 weeks, you should send your infant to see an ENT specialist to rule out any abnormalities in his upper pathways.

Until you send to ENT specialist, I advise to use:
- saline nasal spray
- mucolytics to help dissolve phlegm
- apply vapour rub on the chest and back to relieve stiffness

Wish fast recovery.
