Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was asaulted in august and my legs were tied tightly together. I also have lower back pain and had an MRI it said I have a Mild posterior diffuse disc bulge. The problem is my feet have been numb ever since. I am walking witha lip. Any ideas what s causing this?
Hi, Thanks for contacting HCM. I have gone through your query,as your MRI says the bulging discs in your spine compress the nerve roots which supplies your lower leg and cause the numbness. Since the bulge is mild your prognosis will be good and you will recover soon. Consult an orthopedician with special interest in spine or a physiatrist ( Doctor specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation). He will guide you to some kind of exercises and lifestyle modifications. wishing you all the best. Thank you.
