What Causes Persistent Night Sweats?
for about a year I have had night sweats around the neck chest head till night cloths are wet. for the past 3 months there is a strange body odor also. I am 85 years old, have a very bad back problem and take hydroco meds but have been on them for 6 years.

If your room is to hot and you wear a lot of clothes is normal to have night sweat. But if you don't I suggest you to do a blood count, CT scan of the chest and abdominal ultrasound. If you have lost of appetite, weight loss you should evaluate your situation.
