What Causes Persistent Nausea, Vomiting, Loss Of Appetite And Fatigue?

I am not sure if I have a bad flu type bug that just keep reoccuring with abdominal cramps, gassiness/bloatedness, nausea, loss of appetite, headache and loss of engergy or if I got some kind of food poisoning. The sypmtpoms started 6 days ago with a headahce, nausea, vomiting and general malaise and chills. Should I go in to see a doctor or just ride it out?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and fatigue. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query anxiety disorder , panic attack , peptic ulcer , heart rhythm disorder , drug overdose , allergic reaction or anemia. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper diagnosis . Doctor will take history. Doctor may prescribe antiallergic drug along with antiemetic . Doctor may refer you to cardiologist in case of cardiac disorder or psychologist in case of stress and anxiety . For now take over the counter anti histamine like benadryl .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
