What Causes Persistent Low Grade Fever?

I have been complaining to my doctor that I have been running fevers between 98.9 and 100.7 periodically for months and months. I have started a temp diary on my phone this month to show different times of the day and the temps at those times. Tonight is the highest ever...101... As a kid 99 meant I was really sick. Since I am not feeling particularly bad but suffer from other health issues I am concerned. Is this a high fever when it is 100 degrees outside to boot?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is febrile condition indeed then this need to be investigated and routine blood examination is must, if this comes unremarkable then you need to forget this, because such fever is very common in some functional condition which may not cause any harm, hope this information helps.
