What Causes Persistent Low Grade Fever And Severe Anxiety?

Doc.I am a 24 year old healthy male. For almost a month now I have been dealing with a persistant low grade fever that is accompanied by feeling achey. The fever ranges from 99.4 to 100.8--100.8 being at night. I have pretty bad health anxiety. I have been to the dr ...which they did a flu test and did bloodwork. Both came back negative. The fever causes me to sweat and limits my ability to workout or function how I would like to each day. My doctor originally told me this was just an unknown virus, however, I do not want to accept his answer because a week later I m still dealing with the same symptoms. Any idea what the heck is going on with me?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is the case of febrile condition of unknown origin then this may need several investigations to reach up to the right diagnosis, and these are x-ray chest, urine analysis with culture sensitivity, blood culture test, test for malaria PCR test for chronic illness renal function test, malignant pathology, and last but not least some functional conditions, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
