Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Seroquel is Quetiapine and the drug is an antipsychotic drug. The drug is also used for some cases of insomnia when long term therapy is advised because there is no risk of dependence associated with this drug. If with this drug you are not able to sleep then in such case consult your doctor again for reevaluation. Medicines like Trazodon or Mirtazapine can be added to prescription for good sleep. Alternatively benzodiazepines or Z-drugs can also be added to prescription if used on SOS basis. The medicines like Lorazepam, Alprazolam or Zolpidem etc can help to relax you and will result in good sleep. Please consult good psychiatrist for proper prescription of these drugs.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
