Hi,

The symptoms you are experiencing is most likely due to migraine headaches. Management of migraine is with a combination of lifestyle changes and medications if needed. Keep a headache diary with the details about frequency of occurrence of headache and associated activities during the day.

This will help to identify triggers for migraine episodes. Common triggers include exposure to intense light, sound, lack if sleep, staying hungry, stress, excess caffeine, and chocolate intake, etc. Identify your triggers and avoid them. During the episode of acute pain, Advil can be taken.

If these measures do not help with the frequency and intensity of the headache episodes, then the long-term use of medications like anti-seizure drugs have to be considered. Please be advised to follow up with your primary provider for detailed evaluation and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
