General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, fever if persistent with respiratory symptoms should be evaluated on workup with blood tests as well as X-ray if needed alongwith clinically to rule out lower respiratory tract infection or pneumonia.

She may need intravenous antibiotics in that case. Blood cultures etc may also be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
