What Causes Persistent Dry Cough?

Hi my friend has had a dry cough for three years after going to Texas for a seminar. She is a 58 year old asian female. She coaches tennis and is very active with sports. Recently she has had pain in her feet and can t keep anything down. I saw her Sunday and she has lost 15 poinds in a month. She has gone to the doctor for her cough for three years and she doesn t have pneumonia. The doctor said she may have neuropathy (she is not diabetic, her only pmhx is HTN and she takes a medication for that). She is pale and looks caucasian, she said it hurts to walk her feet hurt so bad. She says its like walking on tacks. What is wrong with her? I am worried

As per your history, it may be due to allergy.

For that you can take tablet loratidine. Kindly avoid allergen. Take steam inhalation.

In case of not getting relief, you may require chest X Ray, complete hemogram after consultation. Take hygienic diet.
