I got stung by a black wasp 3 weeks ago. I still have a little hole-like spot at the actual sting site. I also can still faintly see some bruising in the area around the stings site. Is this unusual? When the sting occurred, I used baking soda to reduce the stinging feeling. Over the next 5 or 6 days I took some Benedryl, due to a large area of swelling and itching. In the center of the swelling, around the sting, there was a darker area at appeared bruised.
