What causes persistent cough while on Active Liver supplement?

I have been taking a supplement called Active liver , which contains milk thistle, globe artichoke, turmeric, and choline. I have used 15 days of a 30 day supply. I have developed a nagging continual cough ( no nasal or sinus congestion)and am wondering if this supplement may be causing my symptoms of if its just a seasonal allergy thing( I live in the Florida Panhandle and we have TONS of oak and pine pollen right now).

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you have a history of previous reaction to these allergens in the past, then it may be an allergic response. If however, you have been exposed to these allergens in the past and did not have any significant changes, then it is not likely related to this. If it is an allergic response the use of antihistamine, decongestant combination would be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
