What causes persistent cough despite taking Prednisone for sarcoidosis?

I been suffering of sarcoidosis for the last 3 weeks. I finish tomorrow with the prednisone treatment. But I still have a little cough but at this point I believe and feel like is allergic. Could be that possible.?? Also, years ago my lung doctor prescribe me Flonase. Can I use again???

Your symptoms can be related to allergy.

I suggest using antihistamine daily such as Levocetirizine.

I also recommend using Calmine lotion for local relieve.
