What Causes Persistent Cough, Chest Congestion And Headache?

Hello, I started with a very bad wet cough about 5-6 days ago. Chest congestion and my lungs sound like they re crackling when I exhale. Also have a constant headache. Earlier today I started getting light headed and dizzy. My left arm from my finger tips to my shoulder went completely numb. Only lasted about 15 seconds. Now both my hands are ICE cold and my finger tips are numb. All 10 fingers. It actually feels like the numbness is working down the fingers to my hand. It s been like this for about 30 minutes now. I also have chills.

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to the history you provide it would be better for you to consult your doctor. You should do a chest X Ray and some blood tests and than the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
