What Causes Persistent Burning Sensation And Belching In The Stomach While On Nexium?

Please help. I suffer from GERD, and as of the past two months, I ve been in seemingly endless uncomfortability. I ve been taking Nexium for a little while, but as of this past week, it has ceased to work. I had an endoscopy this week as well, which revealed absolutely nothing. I am as healthy as can be, yet suffering from a tender stomach and constant burning and belching. I am at my wits end here.

Consider having your gallbladder evaluated with ultrasound. Symptoms can be similar to having GERD. Also consider switching to a different agent such as protonix if this abdominal pain still persists.
