What Causes Persistent Body Pain?

I ve had all the symptom that everyone has posted.i was told by a physician in that group who didn t do the surgery, that he was not doing surgery.the physician who did is not there. I m in pain 24/7, it has taken a toll on me and my husband. I can t go on living this.way I ve given up just living. My life has no function, being in constant pain. How can you cope with life,if no one will help you. I would appreciate you thoughts on this. I have to lay on my left side, curl up, cry. And awake the next day to start all over again.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Pain can be due to hoth physical and psychological causes though the symptoms you experience will be the same. your history is not very clear and I gather you have had a surgery of some sort. First thing to do will be to confirm the surgery has gone well and there have been no complications. A scan or some visualization technique will help assess this. If something is found treating that will help clear your symptoms. Next a course of regular pain killers can be tried along with physiotherapy(only is appropriate for the surgery you have undergone) . If this too doesn't suffice and all organic causes of pain have been ruled out , its time you meet a psychiatrist& psychologist who will be able to help you with the pain. Donot worry there is help for you out there. Be patient and systematic , you can lead your life to the fullest. Be positive. If I have not understood your question right please correct me. I hope this helps you. Take care.
