What Causes Persistent And Foul Smelling Diarrhea?
My daughter is 21 months old. Sunday the diarheaa started and went all day. She didn't eat much but she did drink. Monday morning she was very drousy and wouldn't drink anything. I took her to our pediatrician and she just stated it's probably a 24 hour bug. She slept most of the day and that afternoon/evening she was playing and acting fine. She was drinking as usual but she didn't eat much. She also only had two bowl movements. Today, Tuesday the diarheaa is back. What really concerns me about her stool is that there is little red sting like things in it and very foul smelling. She hasn't been eating much in the last couple of days so I don't know what that could be. Please help.

Infective diarrhea. Take Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily for 5 days. she will be fine
