Hi, so I m not the one experiencing these symptoms but I m asking for my girlfriend. We ve been having protected sex by pulling out with a condom on. About 14 days ago we had sex and the condom broke right as we began intercourse, and I noticed right as it broke so I immediately pulled out. She s expecting her period on Friday, but she was scared yesterday so we took two pregnancy tests, both came out negative. A couple of days before that she complained about cramping and her breasts being sore, similar to how it feels when she is about to have her period. Today, around 6 PM she went to the bathroom and noticed a lot of menstrual blood when she wiped and she immediately put a pad in. About 5 hours later she removed the pad and said that there was less blood on it than she expected, and it had a dark brown color to it that was much different than what she saw before. She has been having on and off cramps all day, but she says when she gets them they re about the same severity to her period cramps. And she said her breasts hurt a little. We last had protected sex yesterday, and it was completely normal. Is this spotting, or implantation bleeding. And is this normal?
