What Causes Penile Pain And Tingling Sensation With Frequent Urination?

I had unprotected sex 5 days ago and now I am very worried i have contracted something. The tip of my penis has constantly been in very mild pain, almost like a tingly burning sensation. Nothing that is super painful but it is something that is noticeable all day long. I frequently need to urinate and for the most part I feel like I need to urinate all the time. Today was the first time I felt pain between my scrotum and anus. It was mild as well but lasted for several hours. This subsided and now the tip of my penis burns/tingles. Any insight into what this may be would be greatly appreciated!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This might suggest a STD or urine infection. Kindly discuss with your doctor as this might need antibiotic treatment after confirmation. Till then, you can take Paracetamol for relieving discomfort. Also, drink enough fluids.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
