My daughter who is 25 had her appendis out in November. She has this pain all the time in her pelvic region. One Dr told her she had bacteria the other said she might have endometriatis. What does she need to do now? She is worried she cannot have children.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.

Pain in the pelvis even after removal of the appendix is suggestive of following reasons for persistent pain which can be :
Endometriosis as rightly said.
PID- Pelvis Inflammatory disease.
IBS-Irritable bowel syndrome.
The diseases which could have been seen on ultrasonography and on surgery as direct visualization is possible are Salpingitis , PCOD, peritinitis , Tuberculosis, Typhlitis, lymph node mass colitis and so on.

I would advise the following:
Psychological evaluation.
CT scan of the abdomen.
Colonoscopy.
Empirical treatment on the basis of irritable bowel syndrome as stress and anxiety too are treated.
