What Causes Passing Of Foul Smelly Gas?
My bowel movements have been in small strips the past couple of days, and i have been having foul smelling gas basically everyday for about a week. I have had reccuring stomach problems since the summer and around november a GI told me to go on a powder laxative which I have been using and it worked but now i feel the same or even worse than before

I can understand that foul smelling gas is very bothersome for you
it could be due to indigestion high protein diet chronic constipation or a worm.infestation
if I were your treating doctor after initial clinical assessment I would have advised you stool test for ova cyst or protozoa and a colonoscopy if need be
in my opinion you should watch your diet
have plenty of fluids and dietary fiber
Avoid high protein diet for a while like egg meat
probiotics and multivitamin supplements
