What Causes Partial Blockage Of Left Nostril And Left Ear Post Septoplasty?

Sir, I did my septoplasty surgery 10 days back. Pre-surgery my right nostril was blocked completely and now post surgery i have realized that left nostril is blocked partially and right nostril breathing has improved. Why is it so??. Also today drop of water went into my ear, i don t think the water is still inside but still feel clogged inside my ear. Is the left ear and left nostril problem related to each other

Your left nostril blocked sensation is probably because of hypertrophied inferior nasal turbinate which should improve with nasal decongestant and steam inhalation. The entry of water into your ear would have made the ear wax imbibe the water and swell up which is causing the blocked sensation of ear. Visit an otorhinolaryngologist for treatment of both conditions. The impacted wax can be removed by syringing or wax removal ear drops.
