Dec 14, 2016 I had a stroke and was in the hospital for 8 days. I was put on Losartin 50 mg two times daily, Clopidogrel 75 mg 1 x daily, Amlodipine 5 mg daily and Atorvastatin 80 mg 1 x daily and st josephs aspirin 81 mg 1 x daily. Iv been on the meds since than. I have constantly got pins and needles feelings through out my whole body including my face mouth throat and head area. If im lying in bed on any part of my body it feels like im burning inside. I went to my cardiologist after seeing the neurologist (who told me to go to my cardiologogist. He took me off of the Lipator since March 14 to see if it goes away. The other day I also went off of the Clopidogrel and its still the same symtoms. Im waiting for cardiologist to contact me for next step. I don t know if he will take me off blood prewsure medications and change them or what. But I am constantly in pain, any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my case evaluation, the paraesthesia of different body parts is mainly in concern with the possible neurologic side effects of the lipid lowering agent atorvastatin and the same should be discussed with your consultant for further guidelines. Do continue to use our medical services.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
