What Causes Palpitations With Leg Pain And Dry Cough?

I am 54 yrs old, female, overweight by 100lb. Have gone to coastal prestige medical center to loose weight. I thought they would be Dr/weight loss all-in-one. I filled out several pages that included my symptoms (altho did not mention DVT, but did mention my leg pain. He has NEVER TAKEN blood pressure, listened to my heart. Just ordered lab work. He put me on Miniville patch, testosterone cream, & Metformin (insulin at level 39) Since finally looking up my own symptoms, I have had symptoms of DVT, heart palpitations, bad leg pain in left leg for last 3 months right now, I have also developed a dry cough in the last month. . I do not have a dr. here...have been away from home nearly a year for my parents who passed away this year.I often get very scary feelings in my heart at night. My blood pressure & pulse never seem to be alarmingly high, but I have gone through bouts with my heart feelings that make me think I might not make it thru night... can last up to an hour. . Please do not see me as stupid for not acting on these symptoms sooner...I have had extreme stress from major events this whole year. Should I make apt with a heart doctor, a GP, or go to hospital emergency for? I am in Pismo Beach, CA right now.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as long as the cough is concern if there is no associated symptoms like fever loss of weight and appetite then no need to worry about this and even no need to take the medicine for this, the chances of allergic cough is likely, now for the palpitation this is also not to worry because some functional elements could be responsible for this, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
