What Causes Palpitations And Indigestion After A Viral Infection?

I experienced a virus this weekend and for two days I have had a racing heart and the feeling like my food is getting not digesting.Is this from the virus? I am a 49 year old healthy female not taking any medicine except vitamins, fish oil and an aspirin.

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Racing of the heart and not having proper digestion can be due to virus infection as you have correctly suspected.
but other reasons should be ruled out before we name any problem as a viral disease.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Get the tests of stool, blood and urine.
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor as well as Cardiac check up as you have racing heart and also get the thyroid tests.
Any other investigations as per the clinical findings so that you can get the proper diagnosis and proper management.
If all the investigations are normal then you may be treated symptomatically as a case of viral disease.
