Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pale yellow colored vaginal discharge can be due to congestion of pelvic organs, during sexual excitement or due to infection. However, the discharge is dark yellow, has bad odor and is accompanied by itching in case of bacterial infection.

If the discharge is causing inconvenience, I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
